"ONCE SAVED - ALWAYS SAVED"

Now, having got people falsely “saved” without being repentant and sorrowful for their sin, they create another ear-tickling wonder to make sure that they (spiritually) sleep on contentedly in the pews. While emphasizing ‘tithing’ and attending church (-in that order) the main thing now is to keep them warm and happy - convinced of their “eternal security” and giving their money to the church organization.

And so they deceptively lull them with a doctrine saying that if they once got “saved” (ie. prayed the ‘little sinners’ prayer’) - even if it was 20 years ago, then it is "IMPOSSIBLE" for them to lose their salvation, even if they commit suicide (because all sin they might commit has already been forgiven them without need of repentance so though they die as a murderer, playing god, its still okay or so they tell the family left behind). No holiness needed! No repentance or change of lifestyle needed. Of course, we have to rely on the fact that they do not read their Bibles - lest they find out that such a doctrine is a complete fabrication.

Thus, they conveniently leave out of our preaching such Scriptures as: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:21-23). Hmmm. “Unconditional Eternal security”, anyone?

And of course, they must also leave out parables such as “The Five Foolish Virgins” because it contains this verse: “And cast ye the unprofitable (useless, worthless) servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 25:30). Notice that both of the above Scriptures are speaking of people who think they are ‘saved’ but who end up in hell. -And Jesus said there will be “many” like this.

And then there are dozens of other Scriptures such as, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” (Philippians 2:12) and “Those who do such things shall NOT inherit the kingdom of God,” (1 Corinthians 6:9, Galatians 5:21) and “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14) etc, etc. So many Scriptures have to be ignored if preachers are to preach this cheap modern man-made “Once Saved - Always Saved” doctrine.

But notice again how well this teaching suits the comfortable, convenient Western mindset. It is ear-tickling by the truckload, to appease and please the fleshly minded who want a religion that promises them everything and costs them nothing. Candy- coated and syrupy-sweet back patting. Can't it be said that this is going to great lengths to make a proselyte to our man-made religion while making them a “two-fold more a child of hell” (Matthew 23:15) than they were before? At least before they were deceived into thinking they were saved when they were in reality only made converts to a man-made religion it would have been much easier for them to hear and receive the truth and come to true salvation. But now they think they are saved, so they see no need and reject the truth that would save them, being satisfied with their deception and slaves to it. And thus this scripture becomes true for them; “If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:23). It is no different than any darkness that calls itself light, whether the false man-made religion of Islam, or Mormonism or any other that binds men in darkness, while calling it the true light and way to God and eternal life. Please note that NO false religion tells the truth or admits what they are, but all profess to be the true light and the way to life. That is why we need the true light of Christ Jesus that brings light into our life and dispels the darkness and deception that bound us to darkness and death. 1 Corinthains 4:3-4 “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

Once Saved, Always Saved
NOT TRUE!
Luke 9:62 - And Jesus said unto him, no man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Hebrews 3:5-19 - Only two men that were over twenty years old went into the promised land out of three to five million. They all started and God is no respector of persons because of their unbelief and wanting to go back to Egypt most of their bones were bleached in the desert.
I Corin. 9:24-27 - Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run,. not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
Hebrews 3:5-19 - The church was predestined before the foundation of the world but not the individual.
Hebrews 4:1-19 - Read.
Hebrews 6:1-8 - For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again under repentance; seeing they crucified to themselves the son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meat for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: but that which beareth thorns and briars is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing: whose end is to be burned.
Ezekiel 3:17-21, Ezekiel 18:20-32, Ezekiel 33:7-20. The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Hebrews 10:38,39 - Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them that draw back into perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
II Peter 2:1-22 - Read.
Jude 1-19, Read.
Revelation 2:5 -Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Revelation 2:20-23 - Not withstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Revelation 3:2,3 - Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thy hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Revelation 3:15-19 - It's possible to be lost if we don't repent.
Matt. 12:43-45 - When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into thy house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with him self seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worst than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. When we repent and are baptized we had better be filled with the Holy Ghost. Because we will be filled with something.
Matt. 24:11-13 - And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure to the end the same shall be saved. Predestination for the individual is false. The church is predestined.
Matt. 25.1-13 - They once had oil in their lamps. They arose and trimmed their lamps.
Matt. 25:14-30 - This man was once saved, but he was lost because of fear.
Luke 8:4-18 - Read. Some started out but didn't make it for various reasons.
Luke 12:39,40 - It is possible to be caught off guard.
Luke 13:6-9 - No fruit, cut it down.
Luke 17:32 - Remember Lot's wife. She started and looked back and became a pillar of salt. Jesus use her as a warning to the Christian today, not to look back to the world.
Luke 21:34-36 - And take heed to thy selves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come up on you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all of them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the son of man.
John 8:31,32 - Then said Jesus to those Jews that believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed: and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 15:1-11 - We must abide in the vine, abide in Christ, continue to keep his commandments. Salvation is conditional. John 15:10, If ye keep my commandments ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my fathers commandments, and abide in his love.
Galatians 5:1-7 It's possible to fall from grace.
The Jewish Nation will be saved, but not every Jew. Isaiah 45:17, Romans 11-26,27 All Israel will be saved that are walking with God. Not every individual.
The church is predestined before the foundation of the world. God will have a church. John saw the church in heaven. The church is predestined but not the individual. Romans 8:29,30, Romans 9:6, Ephesians 1:5-11 the church was predestined: but not the individual. Its possible for the individual to back slide and go back on God and be lost. Matt. 10:22, Hebrews 10:26, John 15:1-11, Ezekiel 3:17-21, Ezekiel 18:20-32, Ezekiel 33:7-20, II Peter 2:20-22, Jude 24, It's possible to fall. Romans 11:21, I Corin. 10:1:12, Romans 11:21,22, Paul was writing to saints. I Peter 2:4, Luke 13:1-5, Luke 21:34-36, Luke 9:62, Luke 13:6-9, John 15:1-10 We must abide in the vine. We must keep his commandments. Rev. 22:18,19, Matt. 24:9-13 He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Luke 17:32 She started to safety, but she looked back, and became a pillar of salt.
